Galvanized steel construction.
These units were originally name plated and certified as for 135 psig @300 deg F. However, they can be recertified (technically a documented Alteration) to a pressure as high as 300 psig @350 deg F or anywhere in between. Nozzle flange rating and corrosion allowance may vary depending on pressure and temperature selected.
Any alterations or modifications needed will be performed by seller at their facility and documented in accordance with NBIC (National Board Inspection Code) using ASME Section VIII, Div 1 Appendix 13 as the basis. Calculations supporting any change can be performed in accordance with ASME, and will be available for client review.
The units were originally designed to cool water, but are adequate to cool many different fluids. These units have remained nitrogen blanketed since shipment from the manufacturer.
They were designed to operate at unusually low noise levels (7 dBA below standard noise levels). Seller has capability to evaluate and if appropriate, then guarantee the thermal performance for your specific case as to fluid makeup, flow rate, and temperatures. Seller also has capability to suggest, quote, and implement any modifications that might be required to meet your specific needs.
