Item 1:

Unused Air Cooled Heat Exchangers. Two (2) remaining identical units. Mfd by GEA Batignolles.

The following figures pertain to one unit.

Forced draft. Two 12 ft fans (Cofimco), with 40 Hp motors. Four rows, three passes. 276 tubes which are 40 ft long, SA-249, TP304H stainless tubes, 1” OD x 0.049” thick. 11 aluminum fins per inch, 2.25” fin OD. 2.375” pitch. Bare tube surface is 2,891 ft2. Finned surface is 67,076 ft2. One 8” 150# inlet, one 8” 150# outlet. These units are 14’- 5” ft wide, 42 ft long. Header end walkways. Column supports, that elevate the units to a total height of 17 ft. Galvanized steel construction.

These units were originally name plated and certified as for 135 psig @300 deg F. However, they can be recertified (technically a documented “Alteration”) to a pressure as high as 300 psig @350 deg F or anywhere in between. Nozzle flange rating and corrosion allowance may vary depending on pressure and temperature selected.

Any alterations or modifications needed will be performed by seller at their facility and documented in accordance with NBIC (National Board Inspection Code) using ASME Section VIII, Div 1 Appendix 13 as the basis. Calculations supporting any change can be performed in accordance with ASME, and will be available for client review.

The units were originally designed to cool water, but are adequate to cool many different fluids. These units have remained nitrogen blanketed since shipment from the manufacturer.

They were designed to operate at unusually low noise levels (7 dBA below standard noise levels). Seller has capability to evaluate and if appropriate, then guarantee the thermal performance for your specific case as to fluid makeup, flow rate, and temperatures. Seller also has capability to suggest, quote, and implement any modifications that might be required to meet your specific needs.

Five rows, three passes. 278 tubes which are 30 ft long, SA-214 welded, 1” OD x 0.120” thick. 10 fins per inch, 2.25” fin OD, 2.3125” pitch. Bare tube surface is 2,183 ft2. Finned surface is 46,260 ft2. Two 6”-1500 RF inlets, two 6”-1500 RF outlets. This unit is 11 ft wide, 32 ft long. Galvanized steel construction.

The design pressure is 2500 psi, and 300 deg F, with 0.0625” corrosion allowance. The units were designed to cool natural gas at high pressure, but could be adapted to cool many different fluids at either high or low pressure.

Seller has capability to evaluate and if appropriate, then guarantee the thermal performance for your specific case as to fluid makeup, flow rate, and temperatures. Seller also has capability to suggest, quote, and implement any modifications that might be required to meet your specific needs.
